The advertising agency hired by Baygon for this project was agency: KID, from Bangkok, Thailand. At best I have to say this is an average effort put out by the agency. Don’t get me wrong I get it, I understand what that ad is portraying but it just doesn’t make much sense especially when what the ad is for (bug spray) is barely visible in the ad!
What the advertising agency is doing here is comparing the bug spray to animals in nature that kill bugs. I actually think its a novel idea but it could have been done much better in my opinion.
One suggestion I have is if you’re going to use the animals to draw comparisons to the bug spray why not show the animals in action actually killing the bugs. Last but not least can’t we increase the actual size of the product and put a website in the print somewhere?
Well either way you look at it, the ad does get you attention due to the fact that there is a strange skeleton on it so in some respects the ad works but definitely needs improvement.

Comment by Nukkie July 24, 2009 @ 4:09 amIt says ” No More Mosquitoes & Flying Insects” for the insectivore to eat, so they died of starvation.
