MTV has a new ad out that really caught my attention. You see businesses by the hundreds adapting new advertising campaigns all focused on “green”. MTV says don’t be green just to be green, actually look into what these companies are offering.
The commercial is great and raises a great point about our responsibility as consumers to keep on top of the “green machine” and make sure companies are keeping it real. If a company says they are green then we the consumers will hold you accountable and expect to see results.

The advertising School, Westerdals School of Communication, Oslo, Norway created this fictional ad campaign for a juice vendor.

I don’t know how well these ads would go over here in the states but I like the edginess, they definitely get your attention.

You know what they say, when in Rome!
All and all I like all of these ads even though I don’t think they have wide appeal they would certainly do well in certain demographics, e.g. college campuses, etc.

I don’t know exactly how I feel about this ad campaign by some students at Advertising School: Academy of Art, San Francisco, USA.
I appreciate the artwork and hand drawing abilities but the ad does seem a little “freaky” for lack of a better word.

I mean when I go fishing I associate it with good times relaxing and maybe having a beer… not sneaking up on a trout or bass and taking it out Tony Saprano style!

The ad is supposed to be for kayaks too, I didn’t know people actually fished from kayaks. Overall I like the look of the ad but don’t think its really relevant to what its selling. The ad was created by art students so there’s your sign!
Truly,
Mr. Echo
