Advertising Agency: Cline Davis and Mann, LLC, New York, USA recently put together a new print campaign for a group called Viral Hope.

While there still isn’t a cure for AIDS/HIV, Based out of New York, there is an organization that is taking steps to help heal people in need today. Viral Hope takes in HIV meds that have not been used and donates them to less fortunate people in Africa, (Nigeria).

Teams of clinicians in New York collaborate with Nigerian clinicians to care for people with HIV and to build the capacity of local clinics to provide comprehensive HIV care.

I visited the website to see how or why someone would donate medicine that they need for themselves and couldn’t actually find anything that said why a person would donate. I’m going to guess that this is mainly companies and or groups making donations. Perhaps they donate meds that are coming close to their expiration date or instead of donating money they donate meds to make sure the people actually get the medicine.

Oh yeah about the design! LOL, I like the ads they catch your attention and the illustrations are really cool. The actual artwork seems to fall into line with the cause, I don’t know exactly why but it just seems to fit.

I do get the feeling though that the ads depict that the meds are going to only African children and not adults as well. After visiting the website I found that they go to everybody but for some reason the ads had me thinking they where getting meds for children. In any case well done, and what a great cause!
